‘Nothing is wanting but the key. If thou canst understand these things thou knowest enough’, so states an element of Masonic ceremony. The key to what?
Solomon is a central figure in biblical history and Masonic ceremonies, yet academics tell us Solomon was not his real name. Kevin L. Gest asks who Solomon was, why his name was changed, what Solomon’s Seal really is, and why Solomon, his temple and the seal all feature in Freemasonry, exploring the sacred knowledge behind the Masonic tradition.
